Water on a Slope

Water on a Slope

Focus Question: How does water move on a slope?

Our scientists began by engineering a slope and observing what happens when water domes are placed on a slope.
Their experiments concluded that water domes always move downhill, gravity pulls water downhill. They concluded that there is a cause and effect  relationship between the size of the water dome and the speed at which it travels: larger water domes move down slopes faster. They also found that the steeper the slope the faster the water dome travels.

Scientists in action!
